MemoryFoamMattress.org is proud to offer memory foam mattress reviews, ratings, and comparisons to help you make an informed decision when buying a memory foam mattress. With the help of Dr. Rick Swartzburg, D.C., a chiropractor and VP of Development for Relief-Mart (manufacturer of Selectabed, TempFlow, and Snuggle-Pedic mattresses), we have reviewed the material on the following mattresses and even tested some of them personally. The result: A better understanding of what they are really selling and whether they really offer what they claim. Keep in mind that some of these companies may not give out important information like ILD ratings, but you can and should inquire before making the purchase. Brooklyn Bedding #BestMattressEver
The #BestMattressEver by Brooklyn Bedding (BB) is a boxed bed offered by an already established mattress company in Glendale, Arizona. BB is owned by the Merwin brothers, who also own the R&S Mattresses chain of bedding stores in the Phoenix area and beyond. When they introduced their offering in the boxed bed market, they sold it under the name of their company brand. The other models, which are still sold in stores as well as online, now bear the DreamFoam Bedding label with model names that begin with “Ultimate Dreams” or “UD.”
Simmons Beautyrest Studio Mattresses
Studio Mattresses by Simmons Beautyrest are sold through Walmart. There are four models under the Beautyrest Studio label, named by their heights: Studio 6, Studio 10, Studio 11, and Studio 12.5. The first one is an all-foam mattress, the other three are pocketed coil models. Not all have memory foam. Two or three of these are boxed for shipment.
Sleep Innovations
Sleep Innovations (SI) is a U.S. based manufacturer of memory foam mattresses. Its foams are made and its mattresses built in the United States. SI was started in 1996. In 2008, it went through a bankruptcy and was purchased by an investment group.

Sealy Optimum
Sealy Optimum consists of gel-foam mattresses. The signature feature of this brand is gel in each of the layers, or as Sealy says, “Cooling Gel Foam from Top to Bottom.” All of the models are memory foam mattresses except those in the Gel Latex Series.
Novosbed
Novosbed was an online-only boxable bed company before this marketing strategy became a trend. In fact, it was designing and making mattresses in 2009, three years before Tuft & Needle began in 2012. Its establishment was motivated by the same reasons as Casper Sleep, Yogabed and Tuft & Needle: confusion, over-priced mattresses, and poor trial period and warranty coverage.
