Like the Snuggle-Pedic body pillow, the filling in the Snuggle-Pedic Ultra-Luxury pillow is finely shredded memory foam, and the cover is the Kool-Flow micro-vented knit cover made from a blend of rayon from bamboo with polyester and lycra.
Two varieties of memory foam are used in the Ultra-Luxury pillow: ventilated memory foam certified by CertiPUR-US, and Biogreen Memory Foam, which has only 1/5 VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as the strictest certification standard (GreenGuard Gold). This foam is from trimmings cut off of mattress slabs. Finely shredded, it can be readjusted by the user for the best fit. The pieces of foam cling to each other to hold the configuration, not going flat like a down pillow.
Kool-Flow Cover
Bamboo rayon (43%) gives the zippered Kool-Flow cover a silky feel, while the polyester (56.4%) makes it more durable, and the lycra (0.6%) provides elasticity. The fabric is peppered with micro-vents for maximized airflow to keep the pillow cool.
Customization
The Snuggle-Pedic Ultra-Luxury Shredded Memory Foam Pillow is customizable. The zippered cover can be opened to exchange the shredded memory foam for a different firmness, or change the amount of the fill. This is free during the guarantee/trial period.
Guarantee and Warranty
